430kWh Energy Storage System Deployed in Mandalay, Myanmar to Tackle Frequent Power Outages

📍 Project Background

In Mandalay, Myanmar, factories face frequent power outages due to an unstable grid. To ensure uninterrupted operations and reduce reliance on diesel generators, the client chose to deploy a smart and efficient commercial & industrial (C&I) energy storage system.

(C&I) energy storage system-Mandalay, Myanmar

⚙️ System Configuration

    • Total capacity: Two 100kW/215kWh all-in-one hybrid ESS in parallel; total capacity 430kWh

    • Core equipment: PCS (Power Conversion System) and STS (Static Transfer Switch) provided by Enjoypowers

    • Power sources: Grid + Diesel Generator

    • Operation mode: Fully automated on-grid and off-grid switching

💡 Key Advantages

  • 8ms seamless transition: When the grid fails, the STS instantly disconnects and the ESS switches to off-grid mode without user perception

  • Smart energy control: System charges during grid availability and discharges during outages, reducing fuel costs

  • Modular & efficient deployment: All-in-one battery cabinets ensure quick installation and fast commissioning

  • High reliability: Enjoypowers PCS offers fast response and high system stability under dynamic load conditions

🌍 Project Outcome

Since deployment, the system has ensured stable production even during multiple grid outages. This deployment provides a strong reference for C&I energy storage applications in regions with unreliable grids, helping customers reduce energy costs and improve energy resilience.
